Who is Amiya Ranjan Patnaik? National Award  Winner Odia film maker Amiya Ranjan Patnaik will be remembered for his  dia films Hakim Babu,Mamta Mage Mula,Pua Moro Kala Thakura,Chakadola Karuchi Leela,Rajarani,Chaka Akhi Sabu Dekhuchi,Asuchi Mo Kalia Suna,Paradeshi Babu and Tulasi Apa. Amiya Patnaik was Known as Odisha’s Eminent film director and producer of Odisha and a warm personality. His contribution to Odia theater and film is noteworthy. He was born in 1955 in Kendujhar. An NIT alumnus, Patnaik was into the theater after his mechanical engineering course and later ventured into films and television.
