- It belongs to the 11th century and enjoys the honor of being one of the 'Char Dhams', the pilgrimage that everyone plans to visit; The Jagannath Temple of puri is the honor of Puri and Odisha. The sacred sight of Lord Jagannath, accompanied by Subhadra and Balabhadra evokes much joy among the devotees. The two gods and the goddess of the temple are decorated according to the occasion and the seasonal change. The structural design of the temple can be found in the form of a pyramid.
- You would be glad to know that there is a latent legend attached to the Jagannath Temple of Puri. It is believed that in Krita Yuga, the real image of the Lord had the power to grant "moksha" to anyone who witnessed it. Yamaraja did not find this justice. Then he decided to keep the image in a distant and unknown corner of the earth. However, when Dvapar Yuga arrived, the idol worshiped today in Jagannath Puri was built by Lord Vishnu with wooden logs. And it makes no difference in the power of the Lord, despite the lack of hands.

- The Puri temple is built on a huge raised point in the heart of the city. The temple multifaceted is enclosed by a partition of about seven meters tall, counting the tallness 0 of the stand. The part of this stage is additional than 4.20,000 square feet. The partition is traversed by four entrances, opposite the four directions. On the east door, there are stone images of two lions and this is called the Lion's Gate.
- Once we spread the vast open area in front of the Lions Gate, we see colossal support about 10 meters high. This support is known nearby as Aruna Stambha. In Hindu tradition, Aruna is the charioteer of the sun god. The world-famous Konark temple was intended in the form of a great car and this colossal support with the beautifully imprinted Aruna on top was connected just in front of the portico of that temple When the temple was wild and there was no god to the chair, this pillar was detached from Konark to Puri and was created in front of the Jagannatha Temple where we now see it.
- Directly afterward we have touched the front door and have
moved forward, we are on a staircase. Locally they are called Baisi Pahacha,
which literally means twenty-two steps. The story or rather the mystery of this
staircase is not revealed. It is interesting to note that a large curve is
shown for this two-step flight. Parents bring their children along and slowly
roll them up the stairs in anticipation of spiritual bliss because countless
devotees have walked the stairs that are believed to knock with spiritual
animation.

- When we cross the chief arrival to the east and climb the stairs to the main temple, we find a large kitchen area of the temple on the left. Some tourists rightly point out that the Puri Temple can be described as the largest hotel in the world because of this cuisine. You can even feed a Lakh person with just two or three hours in advance. The preparation method is very hygienic and the traditional process of preparing food for so many people in such a short time surprises many. On the right, we have the Ananda Bajara, the popular name of the food market in the housing. Ananda Bajara literally means the pleasure market.
- The doors to the north, south, and west are recognized in the same way as the Elephant Gate, the Horse Gate and the Tiger Gate (also known as Khanjar Gate). The northern door is primarily intended for God himself because the wooden trunks of which the images are made enter the facilities of the temple through this door when the Navakelevara ceremony takes place. The lion's gate, facing east, is the main gate. There are pyramidal structures on the four doors that are not very old.
